Scars from Acne, Chicken Pox and Trauma

Restylane® can provide correction to some scars that may last up to four to six months.

A scar can be surgically removed utilizing a very small instrument and then the wound is closed with very fine sutures.

The erbium laser removes slightly more tissue for deeper scars. It may be repeated every two months if needed. It is the most effective modality but may be used in combination with the above.

Ultrasonic microdermabrasion is a revolutionary non-invasive technique in skin resurfacing. It is performed with a jet of fine crystals, which is vacuumed across the skin's surface exfoliating the skin and removing the damaged cells. Microdermabrasion promotes production of new cells in the deepest skin layers, cleanses pores, and stimulates collagen production leaving you with softer, smoother, healthier and youthful looking skin.

The Vitalize Peel and Refinity Peels are helpful in producing improvements in tone and texture. These gentle applications soften the skin and brighten the complexion without discomfort.
