What is laser hair removal and why is it a safe treatment?
The CoolGlide Xeo system produces an intense laser light that is passed through a cooled hand piece that is placed against the skin. Unwanted pigmented hair follicles are selectively removed via a gentle thermal heating process that is produced by the laser light. When the light pulses, a brief, mild pinching sensation occurs selectively damaging the root of the unwanted hair. CoolGlide Xeo treatments are quick, have minimum discomfort and allow you to return to your normal life immediately. Unlike other treatments there is generally no need to apply gels or topical anesthetic. Treatment time depends on the size of the area treated.
