What is laser hair removal and why is it a safe treatment?
The CoolGlide™ Xeo system generates intense, long-pulsed laser light through an actively-cooled hand piece. The laser effectively disables unwanted pigmented hair follicles, thus impairing their growth. The laser's cold hand piece is placed gently on the skin and glides along as pulses of light are delivered from the laser. When the light pulses, a brief, mild pinching sensation occurs selectively damages the root of the unwanted hair.
